Please Read before Voting!

I can’t express in words how scared I am about this election if Donald J. Trump should somehow get elected President of the United States on November 8, 2016.

A Trump supporter might say something similar about their feelings about Hillary, especially if the Second Amendment and/or Pro-life are critical to them.

However, I plead with everyone to read this essay.  This may not have any impact on your thinking one way or the other; however, I am passionate in my attempt to provide a perspective that I believe is important to keep in mind as we go to vote on November 8th. read more

An Open Apology to My Children and Grandchildren

I’m sorry…

I’m sorry for enabling the 2016 Republican Party to nominate the person they did to become their candidate for President of the United States.  I know I can’t accept full responsibility; however, I feel that I and my generation let you down.

We were the generation that grew up in the sixties and were going to change the world.  We were the “love generation” and the students who protested an expanding “war”, bad government, and a President who lied to the citizens.  We said we wanted to make peace and love in the world. read more
